Biography

Jessica Glickman is a freelance illustrator and designer who resides in Rockville, Maryland. She graduated from Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, New York where she earned a BFA in Communication Design.

After living in Brooklyn for five years, Jessica returned to Maryland along with Lloyd, her West Highland Terrier. Some of Jessica’s favorite illustrators include: Chris Van Allsburg, Giselle Potter, Lisbeth Zwerger, and Kadir Nelson.

Professionally, Jessica has recently created a line of dinnerware for Signature Housewares called “Take Out” that sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Homegoods, as well as other national retail stores. She has also kept busy illustrating her first children’s book, “Two Sweet Peas”, for Bebop Books, and just wrapped up the illustrations for a second book soon to be published.
